Victoire Tomégah-Dogbé, PM : "Togo’s commitment to female leadership is irreversible"

The UN Women and UNDP HeForShe (Him for Her) campaign, in which Togo has been involved since July 23 for a period of one month, will continue. However, this Tuesday in Lomé, there was talk of an apotheosis ceremony which brought together around the organization of this campaign in Togo, various authorities, including members of the government, members of the National Assembly, local elected officials, artists and other opinion leaders, to imbue them with the ins and outs of this campaign of global solidarity in favor of female leadership.
Among other messages of commitment followed during this campaign, there is that of the Prime Minister, Mrs. Victoire Tomégah-Dogbé. An assurance given by the Head of Government, "the commitment of the Togolese authorities to female leadership is irreversible". An assurance that fully displays the commitment of the country’s first officials to express this leadership.
As elements of this commitment, the landlord of the Togolese Prime Minister cited her appointment, and that of other members of the government (especially the Minister of the Armed Forces), who are female (35% of the government team), election of the President of the National Assembly, that of 19% of deputies (women), the appointment of the Mediator of the Republic, the Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, women prefects, the election of women mayors, and municipal councilors of the same female sex ...
An invitation was extended by the Head of Government to her Togolese sisters and to all the fairer sex to realize that, "one more year of education for women can increase their income by 20%".
