Togo’s official request for Russian vaccine SputnikV

This is what Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov reports. Following the discussions he had so far with his Togolese counterpart, Prof Robert Dussey, the head of Russian diplomacy officially indicated that Faure Gnassingbé’s country has made a request to obtain SputnikV vaccines.
“Our colleagues from Togo have contacted us with an official request for cooperation in shipping this vaccine,” he said before continuing, “we must take measures, carry out certain legal procedures and, as soon as this is completed, we will be ready to consider practical steps ”.
In the rest of the procedure, approval is awaited in Togo, which should subsequently pave the way for the dispatch of this vaccine.
In the meantime, in Africa, three countries namely Algeria, Tunisia and Guinea have granted such authorization.Tweet
