On the night of Saturday July 10 to Sunday July 11, 2021, the autonomous port of Lomé was the center of a fire.
Pools of flames took place in the merchandise depots, in particular the SAGATRANS company store of the Bolloré group, specializing in the packaging of cottons for export and would have caused enormous material damage despite the intervention of the firefighters.
However, no official information has been given regarding the fire.
Remember that a month ago, a fire broke out on the site of the Kékéli Efficient Power power plant in the port area.
