They have always been part of the development dynamic in Togo and, since its launch, in that of axes 1 and 2 of the PND (National Development Plan). They are young Togolese entrepreneurs who have focused on the baptismal font since 2019, the company Portfolios Sarl. Back from Turkey where they had taken part in the Ankara Fair (March 24 and 25, 2021), this structure headed by Aleph Lawson, and the twenty businessmen and women and economic operators, found it useful to share with their peers the various business and partnership opportunities available to them. It was during a meeting which took place today in the conference room of the CCIT in Lomé.

He justified the choice of the Turkish model as a source of inspiration, for a contribution to the Togolese PND by the fact that today, Turkey is one of the main manufacturers in sectors such as textiles, construction, ’agrifood, automotive, furniture, mining, machinery and agricultural inputs’. If he goes on to explain the approach by a desire to "lean against the Turks" who have succeeded in their development, to also develop Togo, through win-win partnerships, he was especially delighted that the journey Turkish made it possible to agree with Turkish economic operators to “invest in these sectors” mentioned above in Togo.

Two other key achievements of this trip are the setting up with Turkish industries and partners of the bilateral organization "Bosphorus Trade Center" which will be responsible for "improving, it is said, trade and economic relations" between the two countries and "to attract investors to large-scale projects, to open new networks to promote economic progress, to forge technical and financial partnerships". Then, the upcoming organization of economic and trade forums between Africa and Turkey, including that of July in Côte d’Ivoire and the end of the year in Lomé, Togo.

Without going too fast, we can deduce that through this debauchery of energy, Portfolios is well on its way to making an important contribution to the "establishment of a logistics hub of excellence and a first-class business center. order in the sub-region ”and“ develop poles of agricultural transformation, manufacturing and extractive industries ”, included in axes 1 and 2 of the PND.
