He is one of those Togolese in the diaspora who write the name of Togo in golden letters but who are unknown in the country and kept far from the national distinctions awarded here and there by the Togolese authorities and sometimes to people who deserve it less. But as we say, "no one is a prophet at home", the Togolese resident in Germany and precisely in Stuttgart, plastic artist and videographer, trained at the College of artistic and craft education of Kpalimé before joining Europe, Abdoul -Ganiou Dermani, since it is about him, has just been awarded the title Guinness World Records.
According to the explanations of the person concerned Guinness World Records “awarded him a certificate and a medal for participating in the following record-breaking event : The greatest number of photos of people painting uploaded to Facebook in one hour, is 797 and has was produced by Mayank Vyas (India) and Dr. Mahima Gupta (USA) online, May 2, 2021 ”. He continues, “Mr. Vyas and Madame Gupta are artists and exhibition curators who organized this record attempt in collaboration with artists from all over the world. Since many public spaces such as art galleries and museums are closed during the global health crisis, they decided to attempt a record title that would allow artists to present their work in an online setting ”.
